Hulk and Sub-Mariner vs. the Avengers

One of the things I'm looking forward to next year is the Avengers movie.  It will include the Hulk who, in the comic books, is a founding member of the team.  However, before the Avengers formed, the Hulk fought Iron Man, Wasp, and Ant-Man.

And shortly after the Avengers were formed, the Hulk left the team and ended up partnering with Namor, the Sub-Mariner, in a brawl against Thor, Iron Man, Ant-Man and Wasp (Avengers #3).  Great thing about that brawl was that it was something that Namor had set up by challenging the Avengers.

And if the same thing happens in the movie, we are in for a treat.  Something like this could be as big as Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant in Wrestlemania III.

Now, I don't think the Sub-Mariner, Wasp and Ant-Man will be in the movie, but Hawkeye and Black Widow will.  Hawkeye will be played by Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Black Widow.

There are also rumors out there for a sequel to the Incredible Hulk movie.  The bad guy, at least according to the rumors and fans' wishful thinking, will be the Leader, the Hulk's primary archnemesis in the comic books.
